Vastking Kingpad SA10 Android tablet review
REVIEW – I’ve always advocated that you should “use the tool that works best for you.” As part of that workflow, I use various devices depending on the task and my environment. When the review offer for the Vastking Kingpad SA10 came along, I thought it would be a great time to expose myself to the world of Andriod tablets, something I have had minimal experience with.

Design and features
My previous Android tablet experience has always been on low-cost and low-performance tablets owned by friends and family. As you can imagine, that experience was often poor, but I always knew that it wasn’t the fault of the Android platform itself. The Vastking Kingpad SA10 Tablet appeared to have some reasonable specs, so I was optimistic.
The hardware of the SA10 is impressive, featuring an Octo-Core processor, 3GB RAM, 32GB Storage, 10-inch 1920×1200 IPS display, 5G Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, 13 MP camera, and USB-C charging. I was delighted about the USB-C charging, as I dislike and avoid Micro-USB with a passion. The 32GB of storage may be a bit small for some users, but for what I do, it’s plenty. It also has the ability to add up to a 128GB Micro-SD card via the Micro-SD card tray at the top of the device.
The Octa-Core CPU runs at a frequency of up to 1.6 GHz, providing higher performance for things such as gaming and video chat. In the past, my experience with tablets has been mostly iPads, and I found the Kingpad SA10 to be very responsive and a pleasure to use. The Full HD 1920×1200 resolution IPS touch screen is bright and beautiful. I actually prefer the screen proportion of the SA10 over the standard iPad for many tasks. When riding as a passenger in a vehicle, I found it to be the perfect size for watching YouTube videos. The screen also includes an Eye Comfort Mode that can block blue light, making it an excellent option for reading, online classes, and watching lengthy videos.
All of this nice tech is housed in a full metal premium slim body design. The SA10 has just the right amount of bezel around the screen that provides an easy way to hold the device without interfering with the touch screen. The bezel is about 5mm along the sides and about 18mm along the top and bottom. The metal power and volume buttons are easy to find in the dark and have a nice tactile click. The 6000mAh battery housed inside provides up to 12 hours of battery life.
The device’s bottom features audio speakers, a USB-C port, and a 3.5mm headphone port. The built-in FM Radio app uses your headphones as an antenna, allowing you to enjoy your favorite FM station. I was able to pick up my favorite radio station from my basement office.
The 13-megapixel camera produced decent photos when there was plenty of light, and most would find it sufficient for what you would use a tablet for. The front-facing 5-megapixel front camera proved acceptable for video chat.
I primarily wanted this tablet to watch YouTube videos, browsing the web a little, and navigate while traveling. It has outperformed my expectations in all of these areas. I did find it challenging to take back from my wife; she liked it for her games as well.
What I like
* Build quality seems very good
* No manufacture bloat-wear installed on the operating system
* Beautiful Screen
* Built-in FM Radio
What I’d change
* Nothing I can think of.
I’m very satisfied with the Vastking Kingpad SA10. It performed much better than I had anticipated for a tablet in this price range. It was very responsive and a pleasure to use. I would have no hesitation getting another one of these just to have around the house for guests or grandkids.
